League win for Mitchelsto­wn

MITCHELSTO­WN had a good win over Kildorrery in the Cavanagh’s Fermoy Div 2 FL at Kildorrery on Wednesday night.

Goals proved vital for the winners who held a slight lead all through. Brian White had the first goal from a penalty. Liam Keane also goaled from the penalty spot as Mitchelsto­wn led 2-7 to 0-4 at half time.

The third goal came early in the second half by Shane Murphy. In the end Mitchelsto­wn were victorious by 3-8 to 0-7.
