BWEENG CELTIC UNDERAGE
It was a historic weekend for Bweeng Celtic as our under-nines had their first Cork Schoolboys League game. They were away to Douglas Hall and both teams played wonderful soccer. The boys were decked out in their new Markaye jerseys, kindly sponsored by Martin McFeely. Well done, lads. The under-11s also played away against Lakewood AFC in their stunning Imaj Barbers jerseys, which are the away colours for the club. Well done to the lads who drew their games.
Bweeng Celtic training is outside at Bweeng Community Centre. €2 per training session. New players (age 6-12) welcome from Bweeng, Dromahane, Glantane, Lombardstown and surrounding areas. Email bweengcelticunderage@gail.com or PM us on Facebook for more information. Come on and give your local soccer club a go.

Registrations are now due for all players. Please ask any mentor for forms if you have not registered yet.
Congratulations to our own Aisling Healy, who played with the Cork Minors this week, taking on Waterford in the championship.

LAHARN SPRING CLEAN
Members of the local community in Laharn recently took to the roads in the area for their annual An Taisce Clean Up event. Many thanks to all who took part on the day and to Cork County Council for collecting the litter collected. Big thanks to Mary P for the refreshments afterwards.
