Kilbrin goes allll out for f their big fashion night
FANTASTIC fashion, stunning shoes and hot hats hit the catwalk in Kilbrin Community Centre when locals hosted a fabulous fashion show with all proceeds going to the Irish Kidney Association and the Charleville Suicide Awareness Project.
Local ladies took on the role of models for the evening and children got the show off to a flying start with gorgeous styles from Mods ‘n Minis and Bumps n’ Babies.
Fashion shops who showcased their clothing at the show included Lady Lydia, Luna Bella, Charisma, Linehan’s Fashions, Nóirín’s Boutique, Murray’s, Moran’s, Mods n’ Minis, and Bumps n’ Babies.
Local traders, including The Photoshop, Bespoke Head Pieces, Midas Touch, Natural Living Products, Ellen’s Bakes, and Mary Hayes, who set up their stalls in the bar area of Kilbrin Social Club added to the great atmosphere at the show.
Liz Linehan from Corbally won the Best Dressed Lady award which was sponsored by Lady Lydia, and Liz also received a floral bouquet courtesy of Castlebuds Florists, Kanturk.
Barmen Cillian Buttimer, Jordan Corkery, and Tomás Lehane in their formal black and white attire drew many admiring glances from the all female audience!.
Organiser Jennifer Casey, who also played a blinder as MC during the evening, said that everyone involved was thrilled with the turnout on the night. “It was great to see the fashion show so well supported by the people of Kilbrin and surrounding areas,” she said. “The models were amazing and the newly refurbished hall was the perfect setting for the sell-out event.”
Organiser Mary Corkery told The Corkman that she hoped all the shops and stalls will benefit from the event. “They were great to give up their time to support the show,” said Mary. “It was a fabulous night, a night to remember, and it was way beyond our expectations.
“Thanks to everyone who attended, our sponsors, models, and helpers,” she added.
