Three North Cork lots up for sale at May Allsop auction
A TRIO of lots in the North Cork area are set to go under the hammer in May at the next Allsop online auction of commercial and residential properties.
The properties in Boherbue, Mallow and Mitchelstown, will be among almost 220 lots from around the country at the auction on May 17 – 18. The three North Cork lots will be on offer during the second day of the auction.
The first of these is listed as a mid terrace, mixed use building known locally as ‘East End’ on Main Street, Boherbue adjacent to the local church.
The vacant building, with a ground floor retail unit and upstairs living accommodation, extends to approximately 206 sq metres and is described on the auction catalogue as being “in need of refurbishment. It is up for sale with a reserve price not to exceed €25,000.
Having failed to sell in the March online auction the Great Gas premises on Shortcastle Street in Mallow will once again be offered – albeit at a significantly reduced price.
Arranged around a central forecourt, the property is listed as having thee double-sided fuel pumps and two retail units on the 0.16 acre site.
Described as being “suitable to a variety of uses (subject to obtaining all necessary consents)”, the property is listed as having a reserve range of between €245,000 and €255,000.
The third and final property is a 5.4 acre site at Cloghleafin, Mitchelstown, just off the N73 Mallow Road. Described as an “irregular shaped site, it is being sold with a reserve range of between €50,000 to €60,000.
