Late flurry sees Tracton overtake Kildorrery

Kildorrery goalkeeper Ian Butler was in splendid form making some superb saves all through. Finbarr Stapleton had two more pointed frees that had the sides level 0-8 each at the break.

Impressive Ronan Walsh pointed another free for the winners on the resumption with Sean O’Sullivan making it 0-10 to 0- 8 after 37 minutes. Good play by Dylan Kent led to a Stephen Coughlan point for Kildorrery. Tracton forced a penalty following a foul on Kieran

Finbarr Stapleton had three points for Kildorrery that had them level 0-12 each after 34 minutes. James O’Sullivan edged Kildorrery in front. Ronan Walsh with another free levelled at 0- 13 each. Ronan Walsh struck a long range point and followed with a free as they moved two clear after 52 minutes.

Kildorrery never gave up. Two pointed frees by Finbarr Stapleton had them level for the 8th and last time at 0-15 each.

Ronan Walsh, Alan Kiely, David Callaghan and Dan Flaherty had late points for Tracton as they emerged winners by a four point margin. It marked Tracton’s third win from their five games played while Kildorrery have two wins for their three matches.
