Sponsors sought for North Cork League titles

NEW to North Cork Ladies Football from this year, we are awarding a League title to the team that tops the League Table at U-12, 14, 16 and Minor.

We are hoping that a business or company would come on board and sponsor the Cup for each age group.

Congratulations to the Cork Under-14 panel and management on winning the Munster semi-final v Tipperary over the weekend on a score line of 3-3 to 1-5. Kerry are their opponents in the Munster Final.

Best of Luck to the Cork Minor Panel and Management in the Munster Final v Kerry on Bank Holiday Monday, May 1 in Dr Crokes in Killarney at 1pm. Good luck to all the players especially our North Cork players on the panel, Chloe Collins Dromtariffe, Chloe Cottrell Newmarket, Roisin Duffy Mourneabbey, Ava Looney and Katie Horgan Knocknagree and Aisling Healy Kilshannig. Mallow who will play in the County Feale Blitz on Bank Holiday Monday May 1 in Nemo Rangers at 1pm. Banteer and Mallow qualified by winning the North Cork Feile Blitzes held recently in Knocknagree and Kildorrery.

The very successful Cork LGFA Summer Camps take place again this year with Orlagh Farmer and her colleagues from the Cork Senior and Minor panels holding a camp from August 8 to 11 for North Cork clubs in Banteer GAA club.

The camps will run from 10am to 2pm each day. Camp is open to girls from U-8 up to and including U-16s. This is a great opportunity for our older players as well as our younger girls to interact with Cork Ladies footballers and to be coached by them. We would highly recommend this camp for all ages.

The cost is €40 per player. Each player will receive a specially designed jersey.
