COMMUNION

Congratulations to the pupils in 2nd class at the local National School who received their First Holy Communion in the Church of the Immaculate Conception. The celebrant was Fr Jim Kennelly PP.

RETIREMENT GROUP

The Active Retirement Group trip this year is to the north west of Ireland with Yeats Hotel in Rosses Point as their base. They depart on Bank Holiday Monday, June 5 and return on Friday, June 9.

SHOW

A show featuring 11 groups takes place at the Charleville Park Hotel on this Friday, May 26 in aid of the Fight for Fionn. Among those taking part are a local group of ladies including sisters Tina Dunston and Anita Carroll, Mairead Biggane, Eleen Houlihan, Louise Hartnett.

A big crowd is expected for a night of surprises.

A course in Pastoral Ministry will be held in St John’s Pastoral Centre in Tralee over 20 Wednesday evenings 8-10pm. This is for those involved in their parish who would like to deepen their experience and understanding of their faith and ministry.
