LAOCHRA ÓG ROUND UP
SATURDAY, JUNE 3:
WELL done to Laochra Óg’s U10 camogie team who took part in a blitz in Coachford. They were victorious in their three games against Aghabullogue, Coursey Rovers and Kilbrittan.
The club is very proud of all the girls who are improving and progressing all the time. They put in great effort at training and it’s great to see it paying off
Laochra Óg U13 Camogie team were on their travels playing Cloughduv away. It was another great match going end to end, with Cloughduv taking the points on this occasion.
Games like this are great for the girls’ development improving their skills and confidence.
Laochra Óg girls all gave it their best with big performances from Hazel Healy, Emily Murphy and Aisling O’Leary to name a few.
Next U13 games is against Aghabullogue away this Friday and Enniskeane at home on Saturday.
SUNDAY, JUNE 4:
THE 50/50 Club Development Draw took place in Clondrohid Community Hall and the winner was Geraldine O’Neill, Mullinroe, Clondrohid who won €342 and the sellers prize of €25 goes to Glenview Motors, Macroom. MEANWHILE, pictured left, James Hickey of James Hickey Kitchens and Bedrooms, Ballyvourney and his family presented Féile jerseys to members and mentors of the U14 Camogie team due to take part in Féile in Carlow later this month.
The club greatly appreciates the support of the Hickey family in sponsoring these team jerseys.
The jersey presentation took place in Clondrohid Community Hall recently.
