THE LATE NED MASTERSON

THE death occurred after a short illness of Ned Masterson, Caherdrinn­a, Mitchelsto­wn at his residence on June 15.

The late Ned, in his 75th year, was very well known locally. He had been employed at Dairygold on the Clonmel Road up to the time of his retirement.

There was a very large and representa­tive attendance at the removal on Saturday evening from the Chapel of Rest, Baldwin St, to Curraghaga­lla Church and also at the Requiem Mass and burial on Sunday. Interment took place to Brigown New Cemetary.

To his wife Helen (Casey) daughters Norma (Sheehy) Eleanor, sons Michael, David & Kevin. family, son in law Patrick, grandchild­ren, brother Arthur, sisters Eily (Burke) Peggy ( White) brothers in law, sisters in law, nieces, relatives, neighbours and a large circle of friends we tender our sincere sympathy

THE LATE AMELIA ROCHE

THE death occurred on June 15 at her residence at Ballymacal­lan, Ballyhooly of Amelia Roche (nee Sheehan).

The late Amelia was in her 95th year. A member of a very strong GAA family, she was predecease­d by her husband, Jim.

There was a very large and representa­tive attendance at the funeral on Friday evening in the family home and also at the Requiem Mass and burial on Saturday. Interment took place to the adjoining cemetery.

To her sons Michael, Paddy, Seamie, Lar, Gerard, daughters Helen Sheehan, Mary Dorgan, Teresa Power, Margaret Gallagher, Catherine (Fouhy) sons in law, daughters in law, grandchild­ren, great grandchild­ren, nephew, nieces extended family and friends we tender our sincere sympathy.

THE LATE JOHN LANE

THE death occurred on June 17 at Cork University Hospital of John Lane, 10 Mandeville Park, Mitchelsto­wn.

The late John had been in ill health for a short while. He was a popular member of the local community, having been employed at Mitchelsto­wn Creameries up to the time of his retirement.

There was a large and representa­tive attendance at the removal on Monday evening from the Chapel of Rest, Baldwin St, to the Parish Church and also at the Requiem Mass and burial on Tuesday. Interment took place to Brigown New Cemetery.

To his wife Kitty (nee Condon) daughters Betty, Catherine, Carmel (Duggan) Mary, Fiona (Quirke) Jean ( Walsh) son Mossy, brothers in law Davy, Patsy Condon, daughter in law Lena, sons in law Joe, Tom & Factna, grandchild­ren, great grandchild­ren, sister Peggy (O’Sullivan) nephews, nieces, relatives neighbours and friends we tender our sincere sympathy.
