A nurturing touch of Serendipity

SERENDIPITY Childcare has been based in the West End of Mallow town for over 23 years.

Serendipity is owned and managed by Brigid Griffin, who is a trained Montessori teacher and a graduate of NUI Galway in Early Childhood Studies. Serendipity Childcare is influenced by the Montessori method while incorporating the ideals of the play-based method and follows the Principles of the Aistear and Siolta programmes.

A purposefully renovated building, Serendipity has a purposely built outdoor play area designed specifically for preschool children. Brigid and her staff view the outdoor area as a valuable learning tool for young children and their holistic development, and hold it as important as the indoor environment.

All staff are qualified and skilled in the area of Early Years Care & Education and considers each child to be unique and a confident competent protagonist of his/her learning. Serendipity offers the ECCE free preschool year but classes are small so early booking is advised.

Serendipity also offers part time care, starting from one hour a day to five hours a day, or whatever your childcare needs are. But again, places are limited so early booking is advised.
