FASHIONISTAS are set to make their way to Newmarket where over 120 snazzy outfits of all sorts of colours and designs will feature in a glitzy charity night.

The charity fashion show is all in aid of the Irish Kidney Association and it is the second year which this is being held. Last year, over 225 ladies turned up and over €4,000 was raised.

The night is being organised by Philip Linehan of ‘ Linehan Fashions’ in Newmarket, Hannah’s Jewellery in Kanturk and Cool Locks at the West End in Newmarket.

Mr Linehan said: “Last year we truly had a runaway success when we held the fashion show. This year we are hoping for more of the same.”

There will be plenty to keep the ladies entertained as there is a cheese and wine reception along with mouth watering chocolates. In addition there are spot prizes along with a prize for the best dressed lady on the night, kindly sponsored by Hannah’s Jewellers in Kanturk.

The organisers are not also leaving out any teenagers, as there will be a prize for the ‘Most On Trend Teenager,’ which is kindly sponsored by Bridget’s School of Motoring.

Mr Linehan will also sponsor the door prizes and vouchers and there’s also three ladies handbags into the bargain.

Afterwards there will be live music by Andrew Foley.

Mr Linehan will be rolling up his sleeves and getting all the outfits ready for the big night on Wednesday, July 5 and the doors will open at 7.30pm.

“Local models will take to the catwalk on the night and there will be everything from teen fashion to mature ladies.

“We will have styles from size eight to 18 and there really will be some wonderful colours and fabrics on the night,” he said.
