JAMES (JIM) MURPHY R.I.P.

THE death took place of James (Jim) Murphy of Cloonbane and formerly of Castlepook, Doneraile at the Mercy Hospital on Wednesday, July 12.

Jim is survived by his wife, Mary (nèe Meade), sons Ciaran and Eoin, brothers John and Michael (Mallow), sister Noreen (Spaight), relations, neighbours and friends.

Requiem Mass was celebrated in the Church Of The Nativity Of The Blessed Virgin Mary, Doneraile at 2pm on Saturday, July 15 followed by burial afterwards in Oldcourt Cemetery.

KATHLEEN (KITTY) MOLONEY (NÈE O’CALLAGHAN) R.I.P.

THE death took place on Monday, July 10 of Kathleen (Kitty) Moloney (nèe O’Callaghan) at Marymount University Hospital and Hospice.

From O’Sullivan Place and a hugely popular and well liked Mallow family, Kathleen is predecease­d by her husband, Tom, and son Martin and survived by her sons Thomas, Paddy, Colie and Michael, daughters Margo ( Walsh) and Kathleen (Rose), sister Annie, relations, neighbours and friends. Requiem Mass was celebrated in the Church of the Resurrecti­on at 12noon on Wednesday, July 12 followed by burial afterwards in St. Gobnait’s Cemetery.

DENIS CRONIN R.I.P.

THE death took place on Friday, July 14 of Denis Cronin at Mallow General Hospital.

From Barrinclay, Mourneabbe­y and Springwood, Denis was a former chairman of Dairygold Co- Op and is predecease­d by his brothers Neilus and Colman, sister Sheila (O’Keeffe) and survived by his wife Marjorie, sons Liam, Derry, Raymond, Brendan and Fergal, daughter Celine (O’Connell), brothers John and Willie, sister Kathleen (Buckley), relations and a wide circle of friends.

Requiem Mass was celebrated in the Church of St. Michael the Archangel, Analeentha at 11am on Monday, July 17 with burial later in St. Gobnait’s Cemetery.

BARBARA MCMAHON (NÈE CARPENTER) R.I.P.

THE death took place on Friday, July 14 of Barbara McMahon at Cork University Hospital.

From Woodview Drive and formerly of Bray, Co. Wicklow, Barbara is survived by her husband, John, sons Philip, Ian and John, daughters Leanne,Stacey and Shannon, mother Anna, brothers James, Alan, Keith, Gary, Kevin and Stephen, sister Karen, family and friends.

Requiem Mass was celebrated in the Church of the Resurrecti­on at 2pm on Tuesday, July 18 with burial afterwards in St. Gobnait’s Cemetery.
