THE Kanturk Junior hurlers made their exit from the Duhallow JAHC in Round 3 after failing to a strong Millstreet side at Castlemagner on Friday last, 14th July.

In fairness to the Kanturk side, there was little to choose between the sides at the interval with the minimum between the sides, Kanturk 0-6 Millstreet 0-7.

By the midway stage of the second half Millstreet were ahead by five points and, as the Kanturk lads ran out of steam, they went down to a fine Millstreet side on a 1-09 to 2-16 scoreline.
