Big line-out in Kanturk AFC’s new backroom team

THE annual general meeting of Kanturk AFC was held in The Edel Quinn Hall, Kanturk on Thursday, 29th July and the following management committee were put in place:

Life President Michael O’Driscoll, Chairperson Michael O’Driscoll, Vice Chairperson Sam Aherne, Secretary Eileen Higgins (087-7372524), Treasurer Paul Nagle, Asst. Treasurer Edward Geaney, Schoolboys Secretary Jimmy Moore (086-8390022), Child Welfare Officer Aidan Mernagh (085-1247468), PRO Aidan Mernagh, Eileen Higgins and John Mullane, Youth Officer Noreen Courtney.

Commitee members: Paddy Hassett, Neilus Higgins, Kevin Aherne, Jer O’Sullivan, Derval Vaughan, Urusla Carroll, John Murphy, Johnny Lynch, Michael Wall, Rebecca O’Driscoll, Shane Heffernan, Rafal Komonski and Chris Cleary.

Teams coaches and managers for the season of 2017/2018: AUL Premier A team, Manager/Coach Johnny Lynch, coaches John Dennehy and Aidan Mernagh.

Cork Schoolboys League teams: Under 16 manager: Neilus Higgins, coaches: Paul Nagle, Paddy Hassett, Mattie O’Riordan Under 14 manager: Jer O Sullivan, coaches: Rafal Komonski, Leonard Barry, Mark O’Dea. Under 12 (two teams) manager: Neilus Higgins, coaches: Colin O’Riordan, Declan Lehane, Ben Quirke. Under 11 (non-competitive), coaches: Conor Neville, Nathasha Humphreys, Volunteer: Fiona O’Keeffe

Academy teams: Under 10 coaches: Paul Nagle, Paddy Hassett, Josh Brosnan; volunteers: Derval Vaughan, Ursula Carroll. Under 9/8 coaches: Kevin Ahern, Derek Flynn, Michael Wall, Shane Heffernan, Kevin Cashman; volunteers: Derval Vaughan, Fiona O’Keeffe. Games will kick off on the last weekend in August 2017 to begin the new season ahead.
