ROOVES BRIDGE REPAIRS

The Coachford Community Association is calling on Cork County Council to urgently address the resurfacing of Rooves Bridge.

Recently the Council accepted that the surface of the bridge falls under their responsibility, following discussions with the ESB. Now that this has been clarified, it is time for the Council to start repairs to the surface of the bridge.

We have hundreds of cyclists coming over the bridge every week and the surface is appalling. We also have a world fishing championships coming to the village in August and the bridge is an eyesore in its current state.
