-

TED’S Opel Vauxhall Run 2017 will take place this weekend at the Blarney Hotel and Golf Resort. This event is the largest Opel Vauxhall event in the country and attracts many enthusiasts from all thirty two counties and beyond.

Supported by Cartell.ie and the Kevin O’Leary Group, this year marks the 10th year of the run with a two day event consisting of the annual run on Saturday August 12 followed by a gala dinner.

There will also be a Model Display on Saturday evening and Sunday. A Static Show on Sunday August 13th from 11am to 4pm, where all Opel/Vauxhall/GM and Bedford vehicles are welcome. The show is open to cars/vans/trucks and motorsport vehicles of the brand.

There will be a raffle held over the weekend and the first prize is a trip to the Classic Car Show in Birmingham next November.

As in other years, Dogs for the Disabled, who are also celebrating 10 years, will benefit from the event and will be at the event, with their trainee assistance dogs, collecting all through the weekend.

This wonderful charity that has trained more than 150 stability and task dogs since 2007, with no government funding and supplied them to the recipient families at no cost, continues to change and improve lives for children and young people with physical disabilities.
