Newmarket to host U13 development training

THE Under 13 North Cork Development training will continue this Saturday August 12, this is week four of the programme. Please check the North Cork Ladies Football Facebook page, Twitter Acc, Instagram and the website www.northcorkladiesfootball.com for updates on training.

Training will be held in Newmarket and is from 2pm to 4pm. The €2 will be taken up at sign in. All players are requested to be on the pitch by 2pm with gum shields, gloves and their own water, ready to train for training to start on time. Training finishes at 4pm, all players need to be collected by 4 10 at the latest. The €2 will be used solely for the players.

Plaques

THE board is actively taking back Plaques from Clubs from last year’s competitions , please return as soon as possible if you haven’t already done so as the North Cork Finals will be played shortly.

Under 17 Development

THIS nine week programme finished up yesterday with the girls travelling next Monday representing Cork in a Blitz on Tuesday in Dublin, thanks to all involved with this programme which was a great success with great numbers attending every week.

Blitzes

THE annual Under 8 and Under 10 Munster Ladies Blitz will be held on Saturday, August 19 in Banteer and the Under 12 Munster Ladies Blitz will be held on Saturday, Augist 26 in Knocknagree. These are excellent days out for all ages.

These blitzes need to be pre booked so please get on to your club secretary to book in. Both Blitzes are nine-a-side games. Clubs are welcome to bring more than oneteam, cost is €20 per team per age group with any additional teams just €10 per team.

Registration will be through Munster Ladies Football, clubs have received an email with the forms to apply to attend any of the above camps
