Proud to support local groups and sports clubs

-

AT Twohig’s SuperValu in Kanturk we are committed to our local community and are very proud of our associations with local sporting organisations and community groups.

Our commitment to real people means that Twohig’s SuperValu is involved in activities and events throughout the Kanturk area, all year round.

We are proud of our heritage and continuously strive to give something back to the community that support us on a daily basis.

As well as financially supporting local efforts, Twohig’s also has the backing of the SuperValu group to bring national initatives to Kanturk. The SuperValu ‘BehindTheBall’ initiative saw Twohig’s introducing a new campaign to help inspire the future stars of the GAA and encourage more people to volunteer for our local GAA clubs.

The initiative was designed to get children as young as six playing football and exercising more regularly, and parents to get involved in their local clubs. The intiative received great support in Kanturk.

Plus, Twohig’s SuperValu is an official GAA ticket sales agent - which is doubly handy when championship time comes around.

Meanwhile, Twohig’s SuperValu is also proud to be associated with the annual Tidy Towns competition and delighted to support local Tidy Towns groups in Duhallow who give of their time and effort to make our towns and villages better places to live and work.

Indeed, we see daily the benefits of the efforts of Kanturk Tidy Towns in keeping our town beautiful.
