THE LATE PATRICK O’KEEFFE

The death occurred on July 28 following a motor cycle accident of Patrick O’Keeffe, Kilgullane, Mitchelsto­wn and formerly of Marshalsto­wn Mitchelsto­wn. Pat, who was aged in his late 30s, was very well known locally. His popularity was borne out in the very large attendance at the family home on Sunday evening and also at the Requiem Mass in Kilacluig Church and burial on Monday.

Interment took place in the new Cemetery Kildorrery. To his wife Tina (Nee Carey) sons Alfie, Thomas and Tadhg, parents Tom & Helen, brothers Jerry and James, father in law John, mother in law Martina, uncles, aunts, relatives neighbours and many friends we tender our sincere sympathy.

THE LATE JOHN O’DONNELL

The death occurred on August 2 of John O’Donnell, Gurrane Mitchelsto­wn after an illness. The late John, a member of the farming community, was well known locally. A native of Anglesboro, Co Limerick he was very popular person and a great family man. There was a very large and widely represente­d attendance at the funeral on Friday evening at the Chapel of Rest Mitchelsto­wn and also at the Requiem Mass at the Parish Church on Saturday. Interment took place in Brigown New Cemetery. To his wife June (Nee Clifford) son Shane, father in law, Niamh, grand child Eabha, sadly missed by his loving family brothers Con and Roger, sister Kathleen (Bourke) sisters in law, nephews, nieces, relatives neighbours and friends we tender our sincere sympathy.

THE LATE MAY McCORMACK

The death occurred on Sunday at St Patrick’s Hospital Fermoy of one of the best known persons in Kilworth area the late May McCormack.

May was predecease­d by her husband Tim. She was a great community worker in Kilworth village. She took pride of place in the revamped Festival and in particular the fair in the Square event. Her popularity was borne out in the very large and widely represente­d attendance at her funeral at the family on Tuesday evening and also at St Martin’s Church for the arrival of her funeral and an overflowin­g attendance at the Requiem Mass and burial. Interment took place to Kilworth Old Cemetery. To her children Fanahan, Mary, Pad, Timmy, Paulie, Bridgie, Mikey, Eileen, Catherine, Sheila, Margaret (Meg) Noreen, Thomas, Geraldine, Diarmuid (Motty) and Finbarr, sister Peggy, extended family relatives, neighbours and many friends we tender our sincere sympathy.
