CONGRATS CONOR

Congratula­tions to our own Conor O’Callaghan, who was part of the Cork under-17 Hurling team which made history on Sunday by becoming the first ever winners in this grade.

Conor will again wear the Cork jersey on this Sunday when he will be part of the Cork Minor team who take on Dublin in the all-Ireland Minor semi-final in Croke Park. We wish Conor and the team the best of luck.

JUVENILE GAA

Thank you to all who attended the Cúl Camps this year. A fabulous week was had by all 150 kids that attended. We would like to thank all the coaches and helpers for their work throughout the week and thanks to Aidan Walsh (Cork Senior Footballer) Evan Murphy (Cork Minor Footballer) Chloe Collins (Cork Ladies Minor Footballer) and Conor O’Callaghan (Cork Minor and under-17 Hurler) for their visit along side the Ice Cream Van on the Friday.

CROKE PARK

A bus to Croke Park to support Conor and the minors along with the Duhallow contingent in the Senior’s has been organised. Hopefully this will be a fantastic day.

Jackie Daly and Liam Casey competitio­ns-Ned Kelleher and Maurice Cashman and Donal Cashman had a last shot win over Danny Murphy and Aaron Mackey and Paddy O’Keeffe. Aaron Mackey and Maurice Cashman had a bowl of odds to spare over Ned Kelleher and Dion Mackey. Ned Kelleher recorded a bowl of odds win over Aaron Mackey. Danny murphy teamed up with Paddy O’Keeffe to grasp a last shot win over Donal Cashman and Dion Mackey.
