Maeve’s love of science began in St. Mary’s where it was encouraged and fostered by the very supportive management and staff.

She achieved an entrance scholarship to Maynooth University based on her Leaving Certificate examination results, and was awarded the Maynooth Callan prize in recognition of the fact that she achieved the highest mark in astrophysics in her final year there.
