RICHARD O’CALLAGHAN R.I.P.

THE death took place on Saturday, August 19 of Richard O’Callaghan at his residence at Ivy Court.

From a well known Mallow family from the Spa, Richard was employed for many years at Dairygold Co- Op in Mallow.

He is predecease­d by his sister Sybil (O’Flynn, Dungarvan ) and survived by his brother Denis, sisters Lilanne (O’Flynn), Mary (Counihan), Sister Carmel (Convent Of Mercy, Tipperary) Angela (Cronin), relations,carers Kathleen, Ursula and Nora and friends.

Requiem Mass was celebrated in St. Mary’s Church on Wednesday, August 23 at 2pm followed by burial in St. Mary’s Cemetery. To the O’Callaghan family we express our deepest condolence­s.

THE death took place on Sunday, August 20 at Nazareth House of Nora O’Connell (nèe O’Leary).

From Sean Moylan Park, Nora is predecease­d by her husband John and survived by her sons Anthony and Daniel, daughter Mary, brother Maurice, sister Sheila, relatives and friends.

Requiem Mass was celebrated at Nazareth House Chapel at 11.30am on Tuesday, August 22 with burial afterwards in St. Gobnait’s Cemetery.

To the O’Connell family we extend our sincere sympathy.
