Mixed fortunes in a busy week for Ballygiblin hurlers
On Monday evening Ballygiblin Under 16 A hurlers were in action Fermoy where they played the home side in a vital Rebel Og North league game.
Ballygiblin dominated all through, being 2-6 to 0-1 ahead at half time. The second half was much the same with Ballygiblin adding a further 2-5 to just five points for Fermoy.
The final score was 4-11 to 0- 6 and Ballygiblin now await Ballyhea or Cuchullains in the final.

On Tuesday evening the Under 21 A hurlers met Fermoy in the Under 21 A HC at Araglin.
Ballygiblin got off to a good start and were a point ahead at the break 2-6 to 1-8. Early in the second half Cathal O’Mahony goaled and Ballygiblin moved 2-7 to 0- 9 clear. Both sides added some good points with Ballygiblin seven points clear entering the 50th minute. In the end Ballygiblin were winners by 2-14 to 0- 14.

On Saturday evening the Junior A hurlers faced Dromina in the JAHC semi final in Charleville. Ballygiblin did well early on and led at half time 1-6 to 0-7.
The sides were level a number of times in the second half but Dromina moved 1-16 to 1- 13 ahead in the closing moments.
Ballygiblin had two points but it was not enough with Dromina advancing to the final by 1-16 to 1-15.
