CARRIGANIM­A FUN RUN

This event, in aid of Macroom and Millstreet Hospitals, which has been taking place over the last five years, will take place again this year. Keep Saturday, September 9, free. Registrati­on at 2.30 at pub. Race starts at 3.30. €10 for adult, €5 for under-18s, €20 for family.

Music that night with Peter Lane, and of course a big raffle. Come out and support the organisers in this great event.

Congratula­tions to the underwho defeated near neighbours Aghinagh in a League Final in torrential rain in Kilnamarty­ra last Sunday evening on a score line of 3-11 to 2-09. A large crowd turned out to cheer on their teams. Well done.
