Out of this world mind-reading night for Mallow RFC

MALLOW RFC are back on track after a defeat on the road in round 1 of the league.

Mallow RFC 1st XV defeated a strong Old Christian’s RFC side 18-11 in Parkadilla­ne on Sunday last. Mike Sweeney opened the scoring after constant pressure by the forwards and Peter Cosgrove touched over for his second try in as many weeks. Jimmy Glynn kicked the conversion and got a penalty for Mallow to lead going into the half time break.

The second half was a tight affair and Mallow were unable to break down the Old Christian RFC defence, but Jimmy Glynn got a penalty at the end of the game to finish off and give Mallow a great victory.

Mallow RFC 1st XV will be in action again Sunday the 15th of October away to Thurles RFC in the Junior Challenge Cup at 2.30pm.

Mallow RFC, in conjunctio­n with the Supernatur­al Brothers, are having a mind reading night this Saturday, October 7 at 8.30pm in the garden room of the Hibernian Hotel. This show must be seen to be believed! Supernatur­al feats, prediction­s, telekinesi­s and paranormal happenings - We promise lots of comedy and fun too!

This show is always a great night out and will be an important fundraiser for our club.
