PARTY:

A coffee/tea party in aid of the Hope Foundation, a charity that is aimed at helping the street children of Calcutta, takes place at the Glash Community Centre this Saturday October 7 from 10am to 1:30pm. All enquiries to Eileen on 0876770943.

COLLECTION:

The annual church gate collection in aid of Mallow Hospital Equipment Fund takes place before Mass in Kiskeam, this Sunday October 8.

ART CLASSES:

Art classes with Bertie Buckley are currently taking place at the Kiskeam Community Centre on Mondays from 3:30pm – 5:30pm. Beginners are welcome. Details from Sheila (0872624572) or Mary (0872738051)

KISKEAM LOTTO:

The numbers drawn were 5, 10, 12 and 30 while the lucky dip of €50 went to Katie and Killian Cremins. €20 each went to Mary Cullinane (Kiskeam), Declan and Matt (The Shamrocks) and Eamon Guerin. The Sellers Prize went to Patsy Breen.

SET DANCING:

Set dancing classes continue at the old schoolhous­e in Foyle every Wednesday and Thursday night from 8pm. Beginners will have classes on Wednesday and advanced classes are on Thursday. New dancers are always welcome throughout the year. No partner is required and great fun is assured.

They hold their AGM this Friday October 6 at 7:30pm. All committee members are urged to attend and new members are welcome.

The annual feast of St Francis will be celebrated on this Sunday, October 8, at the 11:30am mass of the Friary in Killarney. The blessing of animals will take place at 3:30pm outside the church.
