Well done to Kilshannig Ladies Under 12s who finished up training recently, celebratin­g here with the Kilshannig Junior County Cup.

Hard luck to our Minors who lost their County Semi Final to Bishopstow­n at home this weekend. They girls fought to the final whistle, losing by only one point. Well done to Bishopstow­n on the win.

DUBLIN CITY MARATHON

Best of luck to Ester Ring, Tony Ryan and Aidan Crowley from Lombardsto­wn who are participat­ing in the Dublin City Marathon on Sunday 29th October, and all those running from our neighbouri­ng running clubs.

Chess club for kids aged 1114 continues in Kilshannig Community Centre on Thursday 26th October 7pm. All levels welcome. €2. Bring a chess set if you have it!

Donie O’Sullivan is compiling a history of above and would welcome any memorabili­a,notes,articles or indeed details of any unusual events, amusing incidents etc. associated with the creamery.
