LADIES FOOTBALL

Well done to Kilshannig Ladies Under 12s who finished up training recently, celebrating here with the Kilshannig Junior County Cup.

Hard luck to our Minors who lost their County Semi Final to Bishopstown at home this weekend. They girls fought to the final whistle, losing by only one point. Well done to Bishopstown on the win.

DUBLIN CITY MARATHON

Best of luck to Ester Ring, Tony Ryan and Aidan Crowley from Lombardstown who are participating in the Dublin City Marathon on Sunday 29th October, and all those running from our neighbouring running clubs.

Our 2017/18 season is underway. Under 6s (born 12) Saturdays 5pm Under 8s (born 10 and 11) Sundays 11pm Under 10s (born 08 and 09) Wednesdays 7pm Under 12s (born 06 and 07) Fridays 6pm All training is now indoors in Glantane (€2). Chess club for kids aged 1114 continues in Kilshannig Community Centre on Thursday 26th October 7pm. All levels welcome. €2. Bring a chess set if you have it!

LOMBARDSTOWN CREAMERY

Donie O’Sullivan is compiling a history of above and would welcome any memorabilia,notes,articles or indeed details of any unusual events, amusing incidents etc. associated with the creamery. A lot of material has been collected over the past five years and once copied, returned to the owners.This is a final roundup so please contact Donie at 086/2579106 or e mail donie_os@eircom.net.
