VETERAN British singer/songwriter Ralph McTell will play an intimate gig at the Triskel Christchurch Arts Centre next Thursday evening.
Now celebrating five-decades on the road, McTell is one of music’s great storytellers and has won numerous awards including an Ivor Novello in 1974 for ‘Streets of London’.
In 2002 he was also the recipient of the BBC Radio 2 Folk Lifetime Achievement Award.

SWINGING JAZZ AT THE VILLAGE ARTS CENTRE

JOHN SPILLANE BACK HOME AT DE BARRA’S
CORK’S favourite musical son, the inimitable John Spillane, will continue his monthly residency at De Barra’s Folk Club in Clonakilty tonight (Thursday).
During a career spanning more than three-decades, Spillane has sold more than 100,000 albums, won two Meteor Awards and seen his songs covered by a host of Irish folk luminaries.
His gigs are always very special occasions as Spillane treats guests to well known ditties and debut performances of new songs delivered with roguish humour.
