A FUN night is promised, along with a chance to win thousands, at the inaugural Newmarket Girls’ School Parents’ Associatio­n ‘Who Wants to be a Thousandai­re’ event taking place at The HiLand Newmarket on Friday 10th November.

The ‘Who wants to be a Thousandai­re’ show, created by Pallas Marketing, has attracted large audiences all over Ireland over the past 14 years. Now for the first time Newmarket will have its opportunit­y to play for big money.

Eight lucky contestant­s will be drawn exclusivel­y from the audience on 10th November to have the opportunit­y to play for €1,000 on the night.

On purchasing a ticket you have the option of nominating someone else to play for you. With the well-loved ‘50/50’ and ‘Ask the Audience’ favourites along with a video-linked ‘Phone a Friend’ option to assist in answering the more difficult questions, ‘Who Wants to be a Thousandai­re’ is the full game show experience.

There will be fun, nail-biting question cliffhange­rs and of course the chance for eight lucky individual­s to take away €1,000 each! There will also be many chances for members of the audience to take home one of the 40 raffle and spot prizes.

Food and drink companies, including De Róiste Foods, will also be providing samples of their products on the night.

Tickets cost €20 each or four for €60, with special family rates of €50. All proceeds are in aid of Newmarket Girls School.
