Good wins for Kan turk under age sides in soccer

IN the Kanturk AFC under 16 game Vs Carrigtwohill Utd, there was a great start for Kanturk with Dylan O’Connor scoring in the first minute and followed two minutes later by Cathal Broderick.

Kanturk kept the pressure on and in the 21st minute Cathal Broderick secured his second goal.

Carrigtwohill Utd started strong in the second half scoring a controversial penalty and got the second soon after.

Kanturk kept up the strong pressure, finishing Kanturk 3 Carrigtwohill Utd 2.

Kanturk AFC Under 12 V Kilreen Celtic: Kanturk started well with a very strong first half goal scored nine minutes in by Szymon Getzak, followed by: 12min in Darragh Quirke, 18mins in Stephen Sheehan, 19mins in Adam Lynch, 27mins in Darragh Quirke and with two great saves from Aidan Higgins had Kanturk leading 6-nil at the break.

In the second half Kilreen Celtic returned with determination scoring one goal. However, 32 minutess in David Lehane scored a cracker of a goal in reply. Fionn Murphy had a few great saves and 48min in Ryan O’Connell scored the final goal of the game. Final Score: Kanturk 7 Kilreen Celtic 1.
