FINTAN BOYLAN R.I.P.

THE death took place on Friday, November 10 of Fintan Boylan at Cork University Hospital.

From Cork Road, Fintan worked for many years at the offices of the Borden Powder Milk Plant at West End. He is predecease­d by his grand-daughter Jessica and survived by his wife, Brenda (nèe Springer) sons Adrian and Ronan, daughter Sharon, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Requiem Mass was celebrated in the Church of the Resurrecti­on on Wednesday, November 15 followed by private cremation.

HANNAH (BABE) ROCHE (nèe Lehane) R.I.P.

THE death occurred of Hannah Roche (nèe Lehane) on Saturday, November 11 at Nazareth House.

In her 95th year, Hannah, from Newberry Gates, is predecease­d by her husband, Richard (Dick) and survived by her sons Con, Richie, Ger and John, daughter Helen, carer Nuala, relations, neighbours and friends.

Requiem Mass was celebrated in St. Peter’s Church, Dromahane on Tuesday, November 14 at 11.30am, followed by burial in St. John’s Cemetery, Glantane.

ALEX THOMPSON R.I.P.

THE unexpected death took place of Alex Thompson on Friday, November 10. From Ballyellis Alex is survived by his parents Laurence and Elizabeth, brother Robbie, sister Elaine, relatives and friends. Requiem Mass was celebrated in the Church of the Resurrecti­on on Tuesday, November 14 at 2.30pm followed by burial in St. Gobnait’s Cemetery. To the Thompson family we offer our deepest sympathy.

CHRISTOPHE­R (CHRIS) GORE R.I.P.

THE death took place on Thursday, November 9 at Marymount University Hospital and Hospice of Christophe­r (Chris) Gore.

From Woodland Drive, College Wood, Chris was formerly a member of the Irish Guards. He is survived by his wife, Mary (nèe Daly), sons Adam and David, daughters Ellen, Sarah and Teresa, father Don, mother Bridget, brothers Tony and John, sisters Teresa and Margaret , relatives, neighbours and friends.

Requiem Mass was celebrated in the Church of the Resurrecti­on at 12noon on Sunday, November 12 followed by burial in St Gobnait’s Cemetery.

To the Gore family we extend out sincere sympathy.
