Buttevant is full of life as the festive season takes hold
THE Cahirmee Singers choral group of Buttevant continue their weekly choral rehearsals on Wednesday nights in the Mercy Day Care Centre, Buttevant.
The choral group’s musical evening this year was held on Saturday, December 9, entitled ‘Medleys from the Musicals’. This show was full of presentations from all the well known musicals throughout the years. Held in the Muintir na Tire Hall, Buttevant, it was very well supported and a great evening of musical entertainment was enjoyed be all.
And to look forward to, the annual pantomime presentation, from the Dorada school of Dance is due to take place in early February 2018.
The presentation on this occasion is entitled ‘Robin and His Merries’. Once again, this presentation will, no doubt, be full of music, song and dance, and will have something to keep young and old on the edge of their seats.
The cast are in regular rehearsal and are looking forward to putting their best foot forward for their legions of admirers.
