THE death took place on Monday, December 4 of Kay Hickey (nèe Moore) at Nazareth House.

Formerly of Westbrook Court, Kay is predeceased by her husband, Jim, and son Greg and survived by relatives, Anne and Noel and a wide circle of friends.

Requiem Mass was celebrated in St. Mary’s Church at 11.30am on Wednesday, December 6 followed by burial in St. Gobnait’s Cemetery.

To her relatives and friends we extend our deepest sympathy.

HELEN O’CALLAGHAN R.I.P.

THE death took place on Wednesday, December 6 of Helen O’Callaghan at Farranlea Nursing Home in Cork.

Formerly of Ballydaheen, Helen is predeceased by her parents, Patrick and Eileen, and survived by her brothers Tim, Richard, Patsy and John, sisters Martina (McCann) and Antoinette (Deady), relations and a large circle of friends.

Requiem Mass was celebrated at 12noon in the Church of the Resurrection on Friday, December 8 with burial afterwards to St. Gobnait’s Cemetery.

KATHLEEN DALY (nèe Duggan) R.I.P.

THE death took place of Kathleen Daly (nèe Duggan) at her rsidence in Canon Sheehan Place on Thursday, December 14.

Kathleen is predeceased by her husband, Eugene, and survived by her sons Eddie, Richard, Denis and Eugene, daughter Catherine, relatives, neighbours, carers and friends.

Requiem Mass was celebrated in the Church of the Resurrection on Saturday, December 15 followed by burial in Castletownconners Cemetery, Ballyagran, Co. Limerick.

NELLIE SHERLOCK (nèe Spillane) R.I.P.

THE death took place at Marymount Hospice in Cork of Nellie Sherlock (nèe Spillane) on Sunday, December 16.

Formerly of Blackwater Drive, Nellie is predeceased by her husband, Joe (TD) and sister Ann Mulcahy and survived by her sons Seàn (TD) and Joe, daughter Una ( Willis), brothers Jim, Paddy and Mossie, relations and her friends at St. Stephen’s Hospital.

Requiem Mass was celebrated in the Church of the Resurrection on Tuesday, December 19 followed by burial in St. Gobnait’s Cemetery.
