- MARIA HERLIHY

Network Ireland Cork Branch will host a ‘Ready, Set, Soar’ workshop on professional development, productivity and time management with guest speakers Barbara Nugent of Transilient Coaching and Eric Fitzpatrick of ARK Speaking and Training.

President of Network Ireland Cork Branch, Karen Fleming said: “We wanted our first event of 2018 to have real actionable takeaways that would ensure that our members felt better equipped to set and achieve their professional and personal goals in 2018. Speakers Barbara and Eric are thought leaders in their respective fields and we are delighted to have them deliver this bespoke workshop to our members.”

Eric and Barbara will deliver specific training on setting and achieving goals, productivity and bringing your best self to 2018. Whether you are a business owner, leader of a team, or part of a team, this training will be vital to help you enhance your effectiveness in 2018.’

Speaking about the workshop, Barbara Nugent, Director of Transilient Coaching and guest speaker at the event said: “There are leadership and productivity challenges that emerge amongst teams in every industry, every year. Teams have great intentions to address these, but only 55% of people make New Year’s resolutions and only 8% succeed. We aim to make this event a productive and valuable workshop which will equip attendees with the skills and tools they need to reach their professional goals in the year ahead.”

This will be Network Cork’s first event of 2018. Future Network Cork events in 2018 will include a workshop on preparing for GDPR in the first quarter, and the annual Business Woman of the Year Awards in May of 2018.
