Obituaries
The death occurred on December 26 of William Casey, James St Mitchelstown and formerly of Anglesborough Co Limerick.
The late Billy was a well known publican in the Anglesborogh area being the proprietor of the Galtee View Bar and a popular member of the local community.
There was a large and representative attendance at the removal on Wednesday evening from Fraser’s Funeral Home, Galbally, to Anglesborough Church and also at the Requiem Mass and burial on Thursday. Interment took place to the adjoining cemetery.
To his wife Winnie, brother Patsy, sisters Helen O’Brien (Mitchelstown) Mary Fitzgerald (Cappoquin) brothers in law, sister in law, nephews, nieces, relatives and many friends we tender our sincere sympathy.
The death occurred unexpectedly on December 28 of Marian O’Donovan (Nee O’Flaherty), 15 Captain Keane’s Grove, Mitchelstown and formerly of Liscarroll.
The late Marian, who was predeceased by her husband Jerry, was well known locally.
There was a large and representative attendance at the removal on Saturday evening from the Chapel of Rest, Baldwin St., to the Parish Church and also at the Requiem Mass and burial on Sunday. Interment took place to Brigown New Cemetery.
To her sons Frank, Jeremiah, James, John daughter Marian, grandchildren, partner Billy Currans, sisters Nora ( Wheeler) Ellen (Crosby) brothers Oliver, Dan, Martin, Patrick & Johnny, brothers in law, sisters in law, nephews, nieces, relatives neighbours and friends we tender our sincere sympathy.

The late Eddie, a native of Larne, Co Antrim, was well known locally. Along with his wife Margaret (Nee Roche) they lived at Corpus Christi Nursing Home having formerly resided at Ballinwillin, Mitchelstown.
There was a large attendance at the removal on Sunday evening from the Chapel of Rest, Baldwin St, to the Parish Church and also at the Requiem Mass and burial on Monday. Interment took place to the adjoining cemetery.

The death occurred unexpectedly on December 30 at his residence in Glenatlucky, Mitchelstown, of Tony Crotty.
The late Tony, who was a native of Skeheen, was well known as a member of the Morehaven Centre in Tipperary Town, and the Special Olympics Club. He was formerly of COPE Foundation, Cork.
There was a very large attendance at the funeral on Monday evening at the Chapel of Rest and also at the Requiem Mass and burial on Tuesday. Interment took place to Brigown New Cemetery.
