THE LATE ELIZABETH McCARTHY

THE death occurred on January 13, of Elizabeth McCarthy (Nee Quirke), Barry Park, Glanworth at Cork University Hospital. The late Elizabeth was well known locally. There was a large attendance at the removal on Wednesday evening from Ronayne’s Funeral Home Fermoy to Holy Cross Church, Glanworth and also at the Requiem Mass and burial on Thursday. Interment took place to St Dominic’s Cemetery Glanworth.

To her husband Jimmy, sons Jim, Alan, daughters Kay (Canavan) Eilish (O’Regan) grandchild­ren, great grandchild­ren, brother, sons in law, daughter in law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and many friends we tender our sincere sympathy.

THE LATE JOHN KINSELLA

THE death occurred on January 16 at Cork University Hospital of John Kinsella, Glenahulla Mitchelsto­wn. The late John, who was predecease­d by his wife Mary (Nee Creed), was very popular and well known locally. There was a large attendance at the removal on Wednesday night from Hannon’s Funeral Home Kildorrery to St Bartholome­w’s Church and also at the Requiem Mass and burial on Thursday.

Interment took place to Marshalsto­wn Cemetery. To his sons Harry, Noel, John, Donal, Brendan, Paul, daughters Mary, Betty, Breda, brothers Bill, Brendan, sister Nancy, sons in law, daughters in law, grandchild­ren adn his 11 great grandchild­ren sisters in law, brothers in law, nephews, nieces, relartives, neighbours and many friends we tender our sincere sympathy.

THE LATE KATHLEEN HANNON

THE death occurred on January 14 of Kathleen Hannon Leitrim Kilworth. The late Kathleen (Nee Keane) was a native of Touraneena, Co. Waterford. She was a very popular member of the community. Her popularity was borne out by the large and represente­d attendance at the rosary on Tuesday night in Aidan Walsh’s Funeral Home, Tallow on Tuesday night and also at the funeral on Wednesday night to St Martin’s Church Kilworth.

There was also a huge gathering at the Requiem Mass in Kilworth on Thursday and the burial in Ballyduff Upper.

To her husband John, son Michael, daughter Mary (Mitchelsto­wn CBS Principal), son-in-law Denis Coleman, grandhchil­dren Kevin, Seamus, brothers in law, sisters in law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and many friends we tender our sincere sympathy.

THE LATE TOMMY ROCHE

THE death occurred on January 17 of Tommy Roche at St Anthony’s Nursing Home Pallasgree­n Co. Limerick. The late Tommy, who was predecease­d by his wife Kay, was well known in business in Mitchelsto­wn, being the proprieter of Roche’s Bar and Cycle Shop New Square. There was a very large attendance at the removal on Friday evening from the Chapel of Rest Baldwin St., Mitchelsto­wn to the Parish Church and also at the Requiem Mass and burial on Saturday.

Interment took place to Brigown New Cemetery. To his sons Paul, Jim, daughters in law Ann Marie, and Martina, grandchild­ren Anthony, Ciara, Stephen, James, Jason brother Johnny brothers in law Jim (Kilcaroon Clogheen) and Ger (Glencush Aherlow). sisters in law Helen Breen, Nora Brennan nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and many friends we tender our sincere sympathy.

THE LATE MAURICE WALLACE

THE death occurred on January 11 of Maurice Wallace, Ambergate,Derbyshire, England. The late Maurice was a native of Ballinwill­in House, Mitchelsto­wn. Requiem Mass will be celebrated at St Joseph’s Catholic Church Ripley Derbyshire on January 30 at 11.30am followed by Cremation at Amber Valley Memorial Park and Crematoriu­m.

To his wife Elaine, sons James, Liam, daughter Gemma, sisters Aileen (Barry) Frances (Finn) brothers Pat, Kevin, Brendan relatives and friends we tender our sincere sympathy.
