Flower of Macroom to be crowned

THIS Saturday, March 10, (8pm) The Riverside Park Hotel will host the annual Flower of Macroom competition.
As part of St Patrick’s Day celebrations, the lucky winner will have the honour of leading this year’s St Patrick’s Day Parade as Grand Marshal.
Now in its fourth year, this event has gone from strength to strength since its inception in 2015 with entrants from across the Lee Valley region.
It is a fantastic way to let the whole community know about your club, business or society!
Last year’s winner Laura Creedon representing Naomh Abán Ladies GAA and she would certainly recommend entering.
“Being crowned Flower of Macroom 2017 was an unforgettable moment and something that I am very proud to have achieved. I was also very privileged to have led the St Patrick’s day parade as Grand Marshal. The whole experience is highly recommendable to anyone interested,” Laura said.
