DONAL O’DONOVAN R.I.P.

THE death took place on Saturday, March 4 of Donal O’Donovan at Marymount Hospice.

Formerly of Croke Place, Donal lived at Lower Scart, Ballyclough. Donal is predeceased by his sister Kathleen and survived by his wife Kathleen (nèe Aherne), son Brendan, brothers Pat and Michael, sisters, Rita, Mary, Tisea, Norma and Betty, relations and friends.

Requiem Mass was celebrated in St. John The Baptist Church in Ballyclough on Wednesday, March 7 at 12.30pm followed by cremation at the Island Crematorium, Ringaskiddy.

JOHN LYNCH R.I.P.

THE death took place at Cork University Hospital on Thursday, March 1 of John Lynch, Summerhill House.

John was a retired and well liked dentist in Mallow for many years. He is survived by his wife Marie, sons Gearòid and Garvan, daughters Sine and Niamh, relations and friends.

Requiem Mass was celebrated in the Church of the Resurrection on Monday, March 5 at 12noon followed by burial in St. Gobnait’s Cemetery.
