DONAL O’DONOVAN R.I.P.

THE death took place on Saturday, March 4 of Donal O’Donovan at Marymount Hospice.

Formerly of Croke Place, Donal lived at Lower Scart, Ballycloug­h. Donal is predecease­d by his sister Kathleen and survived by his wife Kathleen (nèe Aherne), son Brendan, brothers Pat and Michael, sisters, Rita, Mary, Tisea, Norma and Betty, relations and friends.

Requiem Mass was celebrated in St. John The Baptist Church in Ballycloug­h on Wednesday, March 7 at 12.30pm followed by cremation at the Island Crematoriu­m, Ringaskidd­y.

JOHN LYNCH R.I.P.

THE death took place at Cork University Hospital on Thursday, March 1 of John Lynch, Summerhill House.

John was a retired and well liked dentist in Mallow for many years. He is survived by his wife Marie, sons Gearòid and Garvan, daughters Sine and Niamh, relations and friends.

Requiem Mass was celebrated in the Church of the Resurrecti­on on Monday, March 5 at 12noon followed by burial in St. Gobnait’s Cemetery.
