St Patrick’s Day parade

THE annual Kanturk Saint Patricks Day Parade on Saturday 17th March 2018 at a changed starting time of 1 pm starting at the hospital car park.

With the route of the parade following the usual route from the Hospital car park via Percival Street, The Square, Main Street and on to Strand Street where Viewing Stand will be situated. The general public are asked to please obey the stewards and marshalls.

The Grand Marshall for the parade is Mairead Martin from Kanturk Golf Club. Mairead was recently the recipient of The Best Female Award at the Cork Youth Sports Awards.

All local organisations clubs sporting groups and schools are encouraged to make a special effort to participate this year.

Local traders and the business community are invited to have their shop windows and premises decked out in festive colours and displays.
