Much sadness at passing of John O’Mahony

-

THE death occurred unexpectedly on February 27 at Cork University Hospital of John O’Mahony, Kilglass Mitchelstown.

The late John was very well known locally. He worked with the farming community for many years up to his retirement.

His popularity was borne out in the large and represented attendance that visited the house on Sunday for his funeral and also at the Requiem Mass in Kilbehenny Church and burial on Monday. Interment took place in the Church Grounds.

To his wife Mary; daughters Margaret (O’Grady) and Helen (Cahill); sons Pa, John, and Michael; grandchildren Shane Shauna, Cathal, Conor Meabh, Leah, Christopher Lionii, Liam, and Ruby; sister-in-law Nellie Casey; sons-in-law Patsy and John; daughters-in-law Angela, Sylvia and Tammie; nieces; nephews; relatives; neighbours; and friends, we tender our sincere sympathy.
