Our mobile team is here to meet the changing needs of our agri customers
Bank of Ireland has recently launched a group of mobile advisers to help address the changing needs of our agri customers.
North Cork now has a dedicated mobile team available to meet with farmers either in a Branch or out in the farmyard.
Sinead Corkery, Branch Manager, North Cork Cluster, manages the four branches of Mallow, Charleville, Kanturk and Millstreet. “We have a team of experienced advisers available to meet the customers at a time and place that is convenient for the customer,” said Sinead.
“Given our location, a significant portion of our customer base is agri; we need to be very aware of the issues facing the agri sector at the moment. I am a qualified farmer myself and I grew up on a farm so I am very conscious what these challenges are,” she added.
“From meeting with our customers we see day to day the issues that farmers are encountering in terms of expansion, volatility of milk prices and Brexit”.
James Sheehy and Marie O’Callaghan are Bank of Ireland business advisers in North Cork and are both very experienced in the agri sector.
Shane Anglim, BOI’s North Cork SME Lending Manager, has worked in the area for many years and is highly experienced in the agri sector.
Pat Byrnes is Bank of Ireland Regional Agri Development Manager and would also be well known to many within this sector.
“Our team can meet in any Branch that is closest to the customer or out on the farm also. It’s great to be able to visit customers at their farm as you can see the day to day running of the operation and get a great sense of the farmers’ plans for their specific farm type.
“I would ask any farmer, both customers and non customers, to come and talk to us for any of their requirements. We can talk farmers through the process and give them advice around their financial needs of their business,” said Sinead
