The death occurred on March l at Cork University Hospital of Joan Carey (Nee Barrett) O’Neill Crowley Terrace Mitchelsto­wn and formerly of Kilacluig Mitchelsto­wn. She was predecease­d by her husband Jerry. There was a large and represente­d attendance at the removal on Tuesday evening from the Chapel of Rest Baldwin St. Mitchelsto­wn with removal to Kilacluig Church. There was also a large gathering at the Requiem Mass and burial on Wednesday. Interment took place to Brigown New Cemetery. To her sons Larry, Jerry, Patrick, Michael, Eamonn, John, James, Paul, daughters Ellen, Teresa, grandchild­ren sister Kitty (Lynch) brothers Patsy and Jim, brothers in law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends we tender our sincere sympathy.

The death occurred on Thursday, March 1 after an illness at the Mercy Hospital Cork of Jim Caplice, Clonmel Road, Mitchelsto­wn.

The late Jim formerly of Cahergaul, Burncourt was a member of Mitchelsto­wn Bowls Club. His popularity was borne out in the very large and represente­d attendance at the removal on Thursday night from the Chapel of Rest Baldwin St. to the Parish Church. There was also a very large attendance at the Requiem Mass and burial on Friday. Interment took place to Brigown New Cemetery.

To his wife Veronica, sons Damian, Mark, James, daughters Deirdre, Veronica, Deborah, grandchild­ren Jesse, Cameron, Alex, Jamie, Niamh, Alyssa, Divino, Rayssa, Ciara, Abbey, Moya, Ben, brothers Mike, Tom, Dave, Dick, Mossie, Joe, Frank and Anthony, sisters Mary, Winnie and Bridget, daughters in law, sons in law, sisters in law, brother in law, nephews, nieces relatives neighbours and many friends we tender our sincere sympathy.

The death occurred on Sunday, March 4 of Paddy Dennehy Georges St Mitchelsto­wn. The late Paddy, who was very well known locally was one of the oldest people in the parish, was predecease­d by his wife Hannah.

There was a large attendance at the removal on Monday evening from the Chapel of Rest Baldwin St. to the Parish Church and also at the Requiem Mass and burial on Tuesday. Interment took place to Brigown New Cemetery.

To his sons Denis and Barry, grandchild­ren Barry, Chloe, Brian and Amber. Daughters in law Ann and Veronica nephews John, Liam and Pat, nieces Margaret (Roche) Mary (Aherne) relatives neighbours and friends we tender our sincere sympathy.

The death occurred on Thursday March 8 at the Bon Seccours Hospital Cork of Dan Hartnett, Brigown Mitchelsto­wn and formerly on Banteer. The late Dan was predecease­d by his wife Breeda.

The family ran a very successful Grocery Shop at Clonmel Road up to his retirement. He had a great interest in vintage cars. There was a large attendance at the funeral at the family home on Friday with reception into the Parish Church for Requiem Mass and Saturday.

Interment took place to St. Fursey’s Cemetery Banteer. To his brothers Tom and Con, sisters Kathleen (Kiely) Eilish ( Walsh) Maura (Foley) Sr. Julia (Australia) brothers in law Liam, Con and Jack, nephews, nieces, relatives neighbours and a large circle of friends we tender our sincere sympathy.

The death occurred on March 5 at Marymount Hospice Cork of Judith (Judy) O’Sullivan King St. Mitchelsto­wn.

The late Judith was formerly of Lyreen Araglin and Christchur­ch New Zealand. There was a large attendance at the family home in King St., for her funeral on Thursday. Cremation took place at the Island Crematoriu­m Ringaskidd­y on Friday.

To her husband Michael, sons Donald, Shane daughters Diane, Stephanie brothers Robyn and Graeme, sister Glenis daughters in law, sons in law, grandchild­ren, nephews, nieces, relatives neighbours and a large circle of friends we tender our sincere sympathy.

The death occurred at Abbeylands Nursing Home Kildorrery on Sunday March 11 of Bridget O’Connell (Nee Fitzgerald) Graigue Kildorrery. The late Bridget was in her 94th year. She was predecease­d by her husband Patrick.

Popular in the community, there was a large and represente­d attendance at the removal from bbeylands Nursing Home on Monday to St Bartholome­w’s Church Kildorrery and also at the Requiem Mass and burial on Tuesday. Interment took place to the local Cemetery. To her daughters Ann (Slattery) Helen (Howard) Kathleen (Morrissey) Mary (Andrews) Margaret (Fogarty) son Patrick, sons in law, grandchild­ren, great grandchild­ren, nephews, nieces relatives and friends we tender our sincere sympathy.
