Cork ladies through to Munster final to face Kingdom
CONGRATS to the Senior Cork Ladies Panel and Management on the great win last Saturday, they now face Kerry in the Munster Final on Saturday, June 23. Congrats to all our North Cork Ladies on the Senior Panel.
Under 17 Development Programme
PLEASE note, you don’t need to be sent by your club to this programme and also County Players not permitted to attend.
Under 17 Cork Ladies Football Development Programme for girls born in 2001 ONLY commences on this Wednesday, June 6 at 7pm at Redmond’s pitch in Cork
Please ask your parent to text Kathleen on 086 8331342 with the following details if you will be attending.
Players name, Club, Parents contact number, players date of birth and unique ID number which is your registration number, your club will have this number for you. Please bring €20 for the programme and gum shields.
I could not highly recommend this programme enough. The blitz concludes in Aug with a trip to Dublin to play in the All Ireland Under 17 Blitz on Tuesday, August 21 in Abbotstown for all players .This is an excellent programme. Anyone doing exams send on all info to Kathleen and let her know when you will be starting.
Under 13 Development Programme THE North Cork U13 Development training is due to start on Saturday, June 9, time TBC. We require trainers, female supervisors, admin help for this programme. Please note that all trainers have to produce their Garda Vetting, Code of Ethics and Fundamentals. All supervisors and helpers have to have Garda Vetting and Code of Ethics done. This can’t go ahead if we don’t have enough trainers, supervisors. The coordinator Edel can be contacted on 089 4186702 if you can help out with training, supervising, admin.
If you want to attend the Under 13 Development Training please text Edel on the number above with your name, date of birth, Club, Playing position and your partents’ contact number.
You do not have to be sent by your club, this programme is open to all players Under 13, players born in 2005 / 2006.
Summer Camps
BOOKINGS are getting very busy for these camps, please book in ASAP.
The very successful Cork Ladies Football Summer Camp dates have been announced for 2018. For North Cork players the following camps are for your area. From July 2 to 5 Mallow will host, from July 30 to August 2 Fermoy will host and from August 7 to 10 Banteer will host.
The camps will be run by Cork Senior Footballer Oralgh Farmer and will be assisted by Senior and Minor Cork Ladies Footballers. These are hugely successful camps all over the county are open to girls Under 8 up to and including Under 16s.
Cost is €45 and includes a custom-made Jersey especially for the Camp, payment isn’t due until the first day of the camp but please register as soon as possible. Lidl Future Stars NOMINATIONS are now open for this year’s Lidl Future Stars events.
Visit Lidl Ireland’s Facebook page and start nominating your Future Star. Aged 8 - 12. Please note the details before nominating to make sure the player you nominate is available to take part if they are selected. Players must be accompanied by an Adult on the day.
Last year girls from our club had a fantastic day so start nominating now. This year’s event will be hosted by Nemo Rangers on Sunday July 15.
