MUSIC ROOM

On this Thursday, June 7, at 8 p.m. Michael Drew will be the presenter in the local Music Room when the group and friends gather for the final musical evening before the summer recess. Everyone welcome to relax and enjoy our evening full of variety with a selection to suit all tastes.

TIDY TOWNS

Boherbue Tidy Towns Committee held their annual church gate collection on this Saturday, June 9, This year the group have been very active and their work is clearly evident in the village area and on all approachin­g roads.

The church gate collection is a very important source of revenue for the group and you are asked to please support generously. If not attending Mass locally you may contribute by contacting either the chairman – Michael Cronin, secretary – Majella Murphy or treasurer – Margaret Murphy.

Preparatio­ns are well under way for next Sunday’s Corpus Christi Procession, which will take place after the 11.30 a.m. Mass. An appeal is made to all parishione­rs to support the Procession.
