The judg­ing of the Dairy Sec­tion will take place on Satur­day June 23 with a to­tal of 20 dif­fer­ent classes which in­cludes IHFA-YMA Show­man­ship League 2018.

Classes this year are for Pedi­gree Hol­stein Freisian and Jersey cat­tle.

The high­light of the day will be the judg­ing of the All Ire­land Ju­nior Cow con­fined to sec­ond calvers with a price fund of €2,000 spon­sored by Kerry Agri.

The to­tal price money in the dairy sec­tion is in the re­gion of €11,000, and, as usual, this year the stan­dard of ex­hibits in each class is ex­pected to be the best in the coun­try.

Adult Bak­ing & Pre­serves

A qual­i­fy­ing class will be held for Od­lums All Ire­land Home Bak­ing Cham­pi­onship, also for the All Ire­land Do­mes­tic Arts Cham­pi­onship and Fleet­wood Paints All Ire­land Am­a­teur Paint­ing Com­pe­ti­tion.

There’s a full se­lec­tion of arts, crafts and needle­work while crafts in­clud­ing Batik, knit­ting, cro­chet, lace, patch­work and em­broi­dery will also be avail­able to en­ter.

In our art/pho­tog­ra­phy sec­tion we have a class in paint­ing with wa­ter colour, oil and acrylic and pho­tog­ra­phy classes in Black and White and Colour pho­tos.

The Bak­ing and Pre­serves Sec­tions have a wide va­ri­ety of classes to suit all bak­ing en­thu­si­asts.
