Dairy Section

The judging of the Dairy Section will take place on Saturday June 23 with a total of 20 different classes which includes IHFA-YMA Showmanship League 2018.

Classes this year are for Pedigree Holstein Freisian and Jersey cattle.

The highlight of the day will be the judging of the All Ireland Junior Cow confined to second calvers with a price fund of €2,000 sponsored by Kerry Agri.

The total price money in the dairy section is in the region of €11,000, and, as usual, this year the standard of exhibits in each class is expected to be the best in the country.

Adult Baking & Preserves

A qualifying class will be held for Odlums All Ireland Home Baking Championship, also for the All Ireland Domestic Arts Championship and Fleetwood Paints All Ireland Amateur Painting Competition.

There’s a full selection of arts, crafts and needlework while crafts including Batik, knitting, crochet, lace, patchwork and embroidery will also be available to enter.

In our art/photography section we have a class in painting with water colour, oil and acrylic and photography classes in Black and White and Colour photos.

The Baking and Preserves Sections have a wide variety of classes to suit all baking enthusiasts.
