Munster’s ‘best burgers’ may leave a bad taste in the mouth

Munster’s ‘Best Burgers’ have been revealed and County Cork did not fare well - in fact, it didn’t fare at all; which will come as a surprise to a great many.

Sponsored by Kepak, Ireland’s first National Burger Day is today, June 21, and Munster’s best burger category winners were announced in advance this week. Organisers revealed that:

• Miss Ellies Takeaway in Clonmel won Best Burger at an Independent Takeaway

• Dooly’s in Waterford won Best Burger at an Independent Chain

• Sun of a Bun in Cork won Best Gourmet Burger Specialist

The Hungry Moose in Kilkenny had teh best burger in Ireland.
