Special Olympians did us proud at games

ALL of Team Munster did us proud at the weekend at the All Ireland Special Olympics Games.

It was a great result all round for Team Munster and these are the results from the team: Nicholas Tarrant got two gold and medals in athletics, Lindsey Buckley got gold and silver medals in equestrian, Bernadette Cronin got silver in athletics, John Murphy got gold in golf, Jeremy Brosnan got gold in golf, Maeve Long got silver in golf, Terese Clifford got silver in golf, Michael Brodrick got bronze in golf, Nathan Sheehan got bronze and silver in swimming, Mallow United Cope Foundation got two gold, two silver, one bronze in soccer, Niall Cogan got silver in swimming, David Doherty got gold in softball.

All those who got gold and silver medals now have a chance to get on Team Ireland for the World Games next year in Dubai.
