Daniel Kingston 5k Remorial tonight

THIS evening – Thursday, June 21, is the annual Daniel Kingston 5km rememorial. As with previous years, all surplus funds will be donated to Cork Arc Cancer support house.

Since Daniel’s passing in 2009 of Hodgkins Lymphoma, at 25 years old, €225,000 has been raised for this worthy charity.

The race commences at Macroom Toyota garage at 8pm and registration is in the Sports Complex between 6.15pm and 7.45pm.

The race cost is €10 per person and refreshments will be available after the event.
