Important cooking demo by Mill street Tidy Towns

MILLSTREET Tidy Towns is hosting a Smart Store Cooking demonstration today, June 21, taking place between 3pm and 5pm.

The concept is a new project enabling people to plan, shop and cook more efficiently.

This will help them save on time, while also being cheaper at the till, cheaper on the pocket for bin collection and, not to mention, better for the environment by reducing food waste.

This project is considered hugely important and at its core it is part of the sustainability project that will reduce landfill and help out in reducing of waste.

It’s the first project of its kind in the country, and it is being funded by the Anti-Dumping initiative 2018.

Millstreet Tidy Towns would appreciate it if the public was to attend this event.

As well as all that has been mentioned, there will be a cooking demonstration, entertainment for the kids, and ‘Country Clean’ will be on site to demonstrate to attendees exactly how to compost and recycle in the correct manner.
