MITCHELSTOWN Intermediate footballers played a 1-15 each draw with St Vincent’s in the Division Four County Intermediate Football Leage at Mitchelstown on Sunday. The game was keenly contested all through. Congratulations to Mark Keane who started with Cork Under-20 footballers on Saturday evening in the Munster semi-final against Tipperary. The other two panellists, Sean O’Sullivan and Sean Walsh, also figured during the game.
Congratulations to St Dominic’s Glanworthwho overcame neighbours Kildorrery in the Rebel Óg North Under-14 B FL semi-final at Killavullen on Thursday evening. The final score was 2-11 to 1-3. They will meet Croke Rovers in the final. Over the past two weekends Kildorrery Intermediate hurlers had two one-point victories over Barryroe in Kildorrery, 1-17 to 0-19; and last Friday evening over Sarsfields by 0-18 to 0-17.
