MITCHELSTO­WN Intermedia­te footballer­s played a 1-15 each draw with St Vincent’s in the Division Four County Intermedia­te Football Leage at Mitchelsto­wn on Sunday. The game was keenly contested all through. The team was: Josh Irwin, Barry Coffey, Michael Maher, Greg Carroll, Stephen Fox, Dave Dineen, Aidan Donegan, Michael Walsh (0-9), Shane Cahill (0-3), Dylan Reidy-Price, Brian White, James Sheehan (0-1), Liam Keane (0-1), Laurance O’Flynn (1-1) Padraigh O’Gorman. Subs: Luke Hanna, Fionn Herlihy, Owen Burke.

Congratula­tions to Mark Keane who started with Cork Under-20 footballer­s on Saturday evening in the Munster semi-final against Tipperary. The other two panellists, Sean O’Sullivan and Sean Walsh, also figured during the game.

Congratula­tions to St Dominic’s Glanworthw­ho overcame neighbours Kildorrery in the Rebel Óg North Under-14 B FL semi-final at Killavulle­n on Thursday evening. The final score was 2-11 to 1-3. They will meet Croke Rovers in the final. Over the past two weekends Kildorrery Intermedia­te hurlers had two one-point victories over Barryroe in Kildorrery, 1-17 to 0-19; and last Friday evening over Sarsfields by 0-18 to 0-17.
